Baab Namaz Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا لَمْ تُغْشَ الْكَبَائِرُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَحَنْظَلَةَ الْأُسَيِّدِيِّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”روزانہ پانچ وقت کی نماز اور ایک جمعہ سے دوسرا جمعہ بیچ کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہیں، جب تک کہ کبیرہ گناہ سرزد نہ ہوں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر، انس اور حنظلہ اسیدی رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: The five prayers, and Al-Jumuah (the Friday prayer) to Al-Jumuah are atonement for what is between them, as long as the major sins have not been committed.
