Salim bin 'Abdullas [bin 'Umar] narrated from his father, that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: A fire is coming from Hadramawt- before the Day of Judgement- to gather the people. They said: O Messenger of Allah! What do you order us? He said: Stick to Ash-Sham.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ سَتَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ مِنْ نَحْوِ بَحْرِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّامِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قیامت سے پہلے حضر موت یا حضر موت کے سمندر کی طرف سے ایک آگ نکلے گی جو لوگوں کو اکٹھا کرے گی“، صحابہ نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اس وقت آپ ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم شام چلے جانا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما کی روایت سے حسن غریب صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں حذیفہ بن اسید، انس، ابوہریرہ اور ابوذر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
