An-Nu`man bin Bashir narrated that: The Prophet said: “The supplication, is worship.” Then he recited: And Your Lord said: “Call upon me, I will respond to you. Verily, those who scorn My worship, they will surely enter Hell humiliated.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنْ يُسَيْعٍ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَرَأَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ سورة غافر آية 60 . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ مَنْصُورٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ذَرٍّ وَلَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ ذَرٍّ هُوَ ذَرُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثِقَةٌ وَالِدُ عُمَرَ بْنِ ذَرٍّ.

نعمان بن بشیر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”دعا ہی عبادت ہے، پھر آپ نے آیت: «وقال ربكم ادعوني أستجب لكم إن الذين يستكبرون عن عبادتي سيدخلون جهنم داخرين» ”تمہارا رب فرماتا ہے، تم مجھے پکارو، میں تمہاری پکار ( دعا ) کو قبول کروں گا، جو لوگ مجھ سے مانگنے سے گھمنڈ کرتے ہیں، وہ جہنم میں ذلیل و خوار ہو کر داخل ہوں گے“ ( المومن: ۶ ) پڑھی“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- منصور نے یہ حدیث اعمش سے اور اعمش نے ذر سے روایت کی ہے، ہم اسے صرف ذر کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، یہ ذر بن عبداللہ ہمدانی ہیں ثقہ ہیں، عمر بن ذر کے والد ہیں۔
