Aishah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: “O Allah, grant me health in my body, and grant me health in my sight, and make it the inheritor from me, there is none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous, Glory is to Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne, and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all that exists (Allāhumma `āfinī fī jasadi, wa `āfinī fī baṣarī, waj`alhul-wāritha minnī, lā ilāha illāllah, al-ḥalīmul-karīm, subḥān Allāhi rabbil-`arshil-aẓīm, wal-ḥamdulillāhi rabbil-`alamīn).”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي جَسَدِي وَعَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي وَاجْعَلْهُ الْوَارِثَ مِنِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ شَيْئًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ هُوَ حَبِيبُ بْنِ قَيْسٍ بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہتے تھے: «اللهم عافني في جسدي وعافني في بصري واجعله الوارث مني لا إله إلا الله الحليم الكريم سبحان الله رب العرش العظيم والحمد لله رب العالمين» ”اے اللہ! تو مجھے میرے جسم میں عافیت عطا کر ( یعنی مجھے صحت دے ) اور مجھے عافیت دے میری نگاہوں میں ( یعنی میری بینائی صحیح سالم رکھ ) اور اسے ( یعنی میری نگاہ کو ) آخری وقت تک ( یعنی بصارت کو باقی و قائم رکھ چاہے اور کسی چیز میں اضم حلال اور زوال آ جائے تو آ جائے ) کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ہے سوائے اللہ کے جو حلیم اور کریم ہے، پاک ہے اللہ عرش عظیم والا اور تمام تعریفیں اس اللہ کے ہیں جو سارے جہان کا رب ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ حبیب بن ابی ثابت نے عروہ بن زبیر سے کچھ بھی نہیں سنا ہے، اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے۔
