Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said: “Indeed, Allah has ninety-nine Names, whoever counts them shall enter Paradise.”

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ اسْمًا مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَلَيْسَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ذِكْرُ الْأَسْمَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَاهُ أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ الْأَسْمَاءَ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ کے ننانوے ( ۹۹ ) نام ہیں جس نے انہیں شمار کیا ( یاد رکھا ) وہ جنت میں جائے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس حدیث میں اسماء ( الٰہی ) کا ذکر نہیں ہے، ۳- اسے ابوالیمان نے شعیب بن ابی حمزہ کے واسطہ سے ابوالزناد سے روایت کیا ہے اور اس میں اسمائے حسنیٰ کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔
