حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَوَضَعَ رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ يَتَرَاحَمُونَ بِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ رَحْمَةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْبَجَلِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ نے سو رحمتیں پیدا کیں اور ایک رحمت اپنی مخلوق کے درمیان دنیا میں رکھی، جس کی بدولت وہ دنیا میں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ رحمت و شفقت سے پیش آتے ہیں، جب کہ اللہ کے پاس ننانوے ( ۹۹ ) رحمتیں ہیں“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں سلمان اور جندب بن عبداللہ بن سفیان بجلی رضی الله عنہ سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah created a hundred mercies, and He placed one mercy among his creation, they show mercy to one another by it, and there are ninety-nine mercies with Allah.”
