`Abdullah bin Busr narrated: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stayed with my father.” So he said: “We brought some food near him, so he ate from it, then he was brought dates, so he would eat it and cast the pit with his two fingers” - he joined between his forefinger and middle finger - Shu`bah said: “And that is what I think concerning it, if Allah wills.” - “and he cast the pit between two fingers, then he was brought drink, so he drank it and then passed it to the one on his right.” He said: “So my father said - as he took hold of the rein of his beast: ‘Supplicate for us.’ So he said: ‘O Allah, bless for them what You have provided them, and forgive them, and have mercy on them (Allāhumma bārik lahum fī mā razaqtahum waghfir lahum warḥamhum).’”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَرَّبْنَا إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِتَمْرٍ فَكَانَ يَأْكُلُ وَيُلْقِي النَّوَى بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ جَمَعَ السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ شُعْبَةُ:‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ ظَنِّي فِيهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَلْقَى النَّوَى بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ الَّذِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ أَبِي وَأَخَذَ بِلِجَامِ دَابَّتِهِ:‏‏‏‏ ادْعُ لَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَارْحَمْهُمْ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ.

عبداللہ بن بسر رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے باپ کے پاس آئے، ہم نے آپ کے کھانے کے لیے کچھ پیش کیا تو آپ نے اس میں سے کھایا، پھر آپ کے لیے کچھ کھجوریں لائی گئیں، تو آپ کھجوریں کھانے اور گھٹلی اپنی دونوں انگلیوں سبابہ اور وسطی ( شہادت اور بیچ کی انگلی سے ( دونوں کو ملا کر ) پھینکتے جاتے تھے، شعبہ کہتے ہیں: جو میں کہہ رہا ہوں وہ میرا گمان و خیال ہے، اللہ نے چاہا تو صحیح ہو گا، آپ دونوں انگلیوں کے بیچ میں گٹھلی رکھ کر پھینک دیتے تھے، پھر آپ کے سامنے پینے کی کوئی چیز لائی گئی تو آپ نے پی اور اپنے دائیں جانب ہاتھ والے کو تھما دیا ( جب آپ چلنے لگے تو ) آپ کی سواری کی لگام تھامے تھامے میرے باپ نے آپ سے عرض کیا، آپ ہمارے لیے دعا فرما دیجئیے، آپ نے فرمایا: «اللهم بارك لهم فيما رزقتهم واغفر لهم وارحمهم» ”اے اللہ! ان کے رزق میں برکت عطا فرما اور انہیں بخش دے اور ان پر رحمت نازل فرما“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس سند کے علاوہ دوسری سند سے بھی یہ حدیث عبداللہ بن بسر سے آئی ہے۔
