حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَأَنْ أَقُولَ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ساری کائنات سے کہ جس پر سورج طلوع ہوتا ہے مجھے یہ زیادہ پسند ہے کہ میں: «سبحان الله والحمد لله ولا إله إلا الله والله أكبر» ”اللہ پاک ہے، تعریف اللہ کے لیے ہے اور اللہ کے علاوہ اور کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور اللہ ہی سب سے بڑا ہے“، کہوں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “That I should say: ‘Glory is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh).’ ‘All praise is due to Allah (Al-ḥamdulillāh),’ ‘None has the right to be worshipped by Allah (Lā ilāha illallāh),’ and ‘Allah is the greatest (Allāhu akbar)’ is more beloved to me than all that the sun has risen over.”
