Narrated Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him]: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was at Hira, him, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, 'Ali, Talhah and Az-Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them all), and the boulder (mount Hira) shook. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Be calm, for there is none upon you except a Prophet, or a Siddiq, or a martyr.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ َرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ عَلَى حِرَاءَ هُوَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعُمَرُ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِيٌّ،‏‏‏‏ وَعُثْمَانُ،‏‏‏‏ وَطَلْحَةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَالزُّبَيْرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَحَرَّكَتِ الصَّخْرَةُ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اهْدَأْ إِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ نَبِيٌّ،‏‏‏‏ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ،‏‏‏‏ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبُرَيْدَةَ الأَسْلَمِيِّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا صَحِيحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، ابوبکر، عمر، علی، عثمان، طلحہ، اور زبیر رضی الله عنہم حرا پہاڑ ۱؎ پر تھے، تو وہ چٹان جس پر یہ لوگ تھے ہلنے لگی تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ٹھہری رہ، تجھ پر نبی، صدیق اور شہید ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عثمان، سعید بن زید، ابن عباس، سہل بن سعد، انس بن مالک، اور بریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے احادیث آئی ہیں۔
