حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ذَكَرَ بِنْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا فَاطِمَةُ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي يُؤْذِينِي مَا آذَاهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَيُنْصِبُنِي مَا أَنْصَبَهَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَكَذَا قَالَ أَيُّوبُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ:‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ رَوَى عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   علی رضی الله عنہ نے ابوجہل کی بیٹی کا ذکر کیا تو اس کی خبر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو پہنچی، آپ نے فرمایا: ”فاطمہ میرے جسم کا ٹکرا ہے، مجھے تکلیف دیتی ہے وہ چیز جو اسے تکلیف دیتی ہے، اور «تعب» میں ڈالتی ہے مجھے وہ چیز جو اسے «تعب» میں ڈالتی ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اسی طرح ایوب نے ابی ملیکہ سے اور انہوں نے ابن زبیر سے روایت کی ہے جبکہ متعدد لوگوں نے ابن ابی ملیکہ کے واسطہ سے مسور بن مخرمہ سے روایت کی ہے۔ ( جیسا کہ حدیث رقم: ۳۸۸۰ ) ۳- اس بات کا احتمال ہے کہ ابن ابی ملیکہ نے ایک ساتھ دونوں ہی سے روایت کیا ہو ( اور ایسا بہت ہوا ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair: that 'Ali mentioned the daughter of Jahl (for marriage), and that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) so he said: Indeed Fatimah is but a part of me, I am harmed by what harms her and I am uncomfortable by what makes her uncomfortable.
