أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ابْنُ عَثْمَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الزَّمْعِيُّ، عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا فَاطِمَةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَنَاجَاهَا،‏‏‏‏ فَبَكَتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ حَدَّثَهَا،‏‏‏‏ فَضَحِكَتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلْتُهَا عَنْ بُكَائِهَا وَضَحِكِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ يَمُوتُ،‏‏‏‏ فَبَكَيْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا مَرْيَمَ ابْنَةَ عِمْرَانَ فَضَحِكْتُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی الله عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فتح مکہ کے دن فاطمہ کو بلایا، اور ان سے سرگوشی کی تو وہ رو پڑیں، پھر دوبارہ آپ نے ان سے بات کی تو وہ ہنسنے لگیں، انہوں نے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے یہ بتایا کہ آپ عنقریب وفات پا جائیں گے، تو میں رو پڑی، پھر آپ نے مجھے بتایا کہ میں مریم بنت عمران کو چھوڑ کر اہل جنت کی تمام عورتوں کی سردار ہوں گی تو میں ہنسنے لگی ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث اس سند سے حسن غریب ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Umm Salamah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called Fatimah on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah) and he spoke to her, so she cried. Then he spoke to her and she laughed. She said: So when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died, I asked her about her crying and laughing. She said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told me that he will die, so I cried, then he told me that I was the master over all the women of the inhabitants of Paradise, except for Mariam the daughter of 'Imran, so I laughed.
