Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The virtue of 'Aishah over women is like the virtue of Tharid over all other foods.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مُوسَى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ هُوَ أَبُو طُوَالَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ ثِقَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ.

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”عورتوں پر عائشہ کی فضیلت اسی طرح ہے جیسے ثرید کی فضیلت دوسرے کھانوں پر ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ، ابوموسیٰ اشعری سے احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- عبداللہ بن عبدالرحمٰن بن معمر انصاری سے مراد ابوطوالہ انصاری مدنی ہیں اور وہ ثقہ ہیں، ان سے مالک بن انس نے بھی روایت کی ہے۔
