حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعِ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِرْقَةٌ يُنَشِّفُ بِهَا بَعْدَ الْوُضُوءِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ لَيْسَ بِالْقَائِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَصِحُّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ شَيْءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو مُعَاذٍ يَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک کپڑا تھا جس سے آپ وضو کے بعد اپنا بدن پونچھتے تھے ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی روایت درست نہیں ہے، نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے اس باب میں کوئی بھی روایت صحیح نہیں ہے، ابومعاذ سلیمان بن ارقم محدثین کے نزدیک ضعیف ہیں، ۲- اس باب میں معاذ بن جبل رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Aishah narrated: Allah's Messenger had a cloth that he would use to dry off with after Wudu.
