حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي ظِلِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَآنِي مُقْبِلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هُمُ الْأَخْسَرُونَ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا لِي لَعَلَّهُ أُنْزِلَ فِيَّ شَيْءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ هُمْ فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ هُمُ الْأَكْثَرُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَحَثَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا يَمُوتُ رَجُلٌ فَيَدَعُ إِبِلًا أَوْ بَقَرًا لَمْ يُؤَدِّ زَكَاتَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا جَاءَتْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْظَمَ مَا كَانَتْ وَأَسْمَنَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏تَطَؤُهُ بِأَخْفَافِهَا وَتَنْطَحُهُ بِقُرُونِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كُلَّمَا نَفِدَتْ أُخْرَاهَا عَادَتْ عَلَيْهِ أُولَاهَا حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مِثْلُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:‏‏‏‏ لُعِنَ مَانِعُ الصَّدَقَةِ وَعَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاسْمُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ جُنْدَبُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ جُنَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُنِيرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ الدَّيْلَمِ عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْأَكْثَرُونَ أَصْحَابُ عَشَرَةِ آلَافٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُنِيرٍ مَرْوَزِيٌّ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوذر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، آپ کعبہ کے سائے میں بیٹھے تھے آپ نے مجھے آتا دیکھا تو فرمایا: ”رب کعبہ کی قسم! قیامت کے دن یہی لوگ خسارے میں ہوں گے“ ۲؎ میں نے اپنے جی میں کہا: شاید کوئی چیز میرے بارے میں نازل کی گئی ہو۔ میں نے عرض کیا: کون لوگ؟ میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہی لوگ جو بہت مال والے ہیں سوائے ان لوگوں کے جو ایسا ایسا کرے، آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ سے لپ بھر کر اپنے سامنے اور اپنے دائیں اور اپنے بائیں طرف اشارہ کیا، پھر فرمایا: ”قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، جو بھی آدمی اونٹ اور گائے چھوڑ کر مرا اور اس نے اس کی زکاۃ ادا نہیں کی تو قیامت کے دن وہ اس سے زیادہ بھاری اور موٹے ہو کر آئیں گے جتنا وہ تھے ۳؎ اور اسے اپنی کھروں سے روندیں گے، اور اپنی سینگوں سے ماریں گے، جب ان کا آخری جانور بھی گزر چکے گا تو پھر پہلا لوٹا دیا جائے گا ۴؎ یہاں تک کہ لوگوں کے درمیان فیصلہ کر دیا جائے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوذر رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے بھی اسی کے مثل روایت ہے، ۳- علی رضی الله عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ زکاۃ روک لینے والے پر لعنت کی گئی ہے ۵؎، ۴- ( یہ حدیث ) قبیصہ بن ہلب نے اپنے والد ہلب سے روایت کی ہے، نیز جابر بن عبداللہ اور عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔ ۵- ضحاک بن مزاحم کہتے ہیں کہ «الأكثرون» سے مراد وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے پاس دس ہزار ( درہم یا دینار ) ہوں۔

English Translation

Abu Dharr narrated: I came to the Messenger of Allah while he was sitting in the shade of the Ka'bah. He said: He saw me approaching and he said: 'They are lost on the Day of Judgment! By the Lord of the Ka'bah!' He said: I said t myself: Woe is me! Perhaps something has been revealed about me!' He said: So I said: 'Who are they, and may my father and mother be ransomed for you.' So the Messenger of Allah said: 'They are those who have much, except for who says like this, and this, and this and motioned with his hand to his front, and t his right, and to his left.' Then he said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! No man will die, leaving a camel or a cow that he did not pay Zakat on, except that it will come on the Day of Judgment larger and fatter than it was, they will tread him under their hooves and butt him with their horns, all of them; such that when the last of them has had a turn, the first returns to him, until he is judged before the people.'
