حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ قَدْ عَفَوْتُ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَهَاتُوا صَدَقَةَ الرِّقَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا دِرْهَمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَيْسَ فِي تِسْعِينَ وَمِائَةٍ شَيْءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا بَلَغَتْ مِائَتَيْنِ فَفِيهَا خَمْسَةُ دَرَاهِمَ . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَغَيْرُهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيل عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كِلَاهُمَا عِنْدِي صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق يُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ رُوِيَ عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا.

Urdu Translation

علی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں نے گھوڑوں اور غلاموں کی زکاۃ معاف کر دی ہے ۱؎ تو اب تم چاندی کی زکاۃ ادا کرو ۲؎، ہر چالیس درہم پر ایک درہم، ایک سو نوے درہم میں کچھ نہیں ہے، جب دو سو درہم ہو جائیں تو ان میں پانچ درہم ہیں ۳؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اعمش اور ابو عوانہ، وغیرہم نے بھی یہ حدیث بطریق: «أبي إسحاق عن عاصم بن ضمرة عن علي» روایت کی ہے، اور سفیان ثوری، سفیان بن عیینہ اور دیگر کئی لوگوں نے بھی بطریق: «أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي» روایت کی ہے، ۲- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری سے اس حدیث کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: ابواسحاق سبیعی سے مروی یہ دونوں حدیثیں میرے نزدیک صحیح ہیں، احتمال ہے کہ یہ حارث اور عاصم دونوں سے ایک ساتھ روایت کی گئی ہو ( تو ابواسحاق نے اسے دونوں سے روایت کیا ہو ) ۳- اس باب میں ابوبکر صدیق اور عمرو بن حزم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Ali narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: I have exempted charity on horses and slaves. So bring charity for silver, one Dirham for every forty Dirham. There is nothing for me (to collect) on one hundred and ninety Dirham, so when it reaches two hundred, then five Dirham of it (are due).
