Abu Hajib narrated from a man from Banu Ghifar who said: The Prophet prohibited using the leftover (water) of a woman's Purification.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَاجِبٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ فَضْلِ طَهُورِ الْمَرْأَةِ . قال:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ وَكَرِهَ بَعْضُ الْفُقَهَاءِ الْوُضُوءَ بِفَضْلِ طَهُورِ الْمَرْأَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق:‏‏‏‏ كَرِهَا فَضْلَ طَهُورِهَا وَلَمْ يَرَيَا بِفَضْلِ سُؤْرِهَا بَأْسًا.

قبیلہ بنی غفار کے ایک آدمی (حکم بن عمرو) رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے عورت کے وضو سے بچے ہوئے پانی سے ( وضو کرنے سے ) منع فرمایا ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس باب میں عبداللہ بن سرجس رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے، ۲- بعض فقہاء نے عورت کے وضو سے بچے ہوئے پانی سے وضو کرنے کو مکروہ قرار دیا ہے، یہی احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی قول ہے، ان دونوں نے عورت کے وضو سے بچے ہوئے پانی کو مکروہ کہا ہے لیکن اس کے جھوٹے کے استعمال میں ان دونوں نے کوئی حرج نہیں جانا۔
