Ibn Umar narrated that : the Messenger of Allah would order paying the Zakat before going to the Salat on the day of Fitr.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْحَذَّاءُ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الصَّائِغُ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِإِخْرَاجِ الزَّكَاةِ قَبْلَ الْغُدُوِّ لِلصَّلَاةِ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَسْتَحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ الرَّجُلُ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ الْغُدُوِّ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عید الفطر کے دن نماز کے لیے جانے سے پہلے صدقہ فطر نکالنے کا حکم دیتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے، ۲- اور اہل علم اسی کو مستحب سمجھتے ہیں کہ آدمی صدقہ فطر نماز کے لیے جانے سے پہلے نکال دے۔
