حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صِيَامَيْنِ يَوْمِ الْأَضْحَى وَيَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى هُوَ ابْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْمَازِنِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَى لَهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ.

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو روزوں سے منع فرمایا: ”یوم الاضحی ( بقر عید ) کے روزے سے اور یوم الفطر ( عید ) کے روزے سے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عمر، علی، عائشہ، ابوہریرہ، عقبہ بن عامر اور انس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے، ۴- عمرو بن یحییٰ ہی عمارہ بن ابی الحسن مازنی ہیں، وہ مدینے کے رہنے والے ہیں اور ثقہ ہیں۔ سفیان ثوری، شعبہ اور مالک بن انس نے ان سے حدیثیں روایت کی ہیں۔

English Translation

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated: The Messenger of Allah prohibited two fasts: Fasting the Day of Adha and the Day of Fitr.
