حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فِي مُعْتَكَفِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا. رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ مُرْسَلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، وَسُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ. وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَرَادَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فِي مُعْتَكَفِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فَلْتَغِبْ لَهُ الشَّمْسُ مِنَ اللَّيْلَةِ الَّتِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْغَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ قَعَدَ فِي مُعْتَكَفِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب اعتکاف کا ارادہ کرتے تو فجر پڑھتے پھر اپنے معتکف ( جائے اعتکاف ) میں داخل ہو جاتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث یحییٰ بن سعید سے بواسطہ عمرۃ مرسلاً بھی مروی ہے ( اس میں عائشہ کے واسطے کا ذکر نہیں ) ، ۲- اور اسے مالک اور دیگر کئی لوگوں نے یحییٰ بن سعید سے اور یحییٰ نے عمرۃ سے مرسلاً ہی روایت کی ہے، ۳- اور اوزاعی، سفیان ثوری اور دیگر لوگوں نے بطریق: «يحيى بن سعيد عن عروة عن عائشة» روایت کی ہے، ۴- بعض اہل علم کے نزدیک عمل اسی حدیث پر ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں: جب آدمی اعتکاف کا ارادہ کرے تو فجر پڑھے، پھر اپنے معتکف ( اعتکاف کی جگہ ) میں داخل ہو جائے، احمد اور اسحاق بن ابراہیم بن راہویہ کا یہی قول ہے۔ بعض کہتے ہیں: جب آدمی اعتکاف کا ارادہ کرے تو اگلے دن جس میں وہ اعتکاف کرنا چاہتا ہے کی رات کا سورج ڈوب جائے تو وہ اپنے معتکف ( اعتکاف کی جگہ ) میں بیٹھا ہو، یہ سفیان ثوری اور مالک بن انس کا قول ہے ۱؎۔

English Translation

Aishah narrated: When the Messenger of Allah wanted to perform I'tikaf, he would perform Fajr prayer and then he would enter his place of I'tikaf.
