حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ:‏‏‏‏ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غُلِبْتُ عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُوحِمْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ بِالْيَمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا هُوَ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَى عَنْهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ كُوفِيٌّ يُكْنَى أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعَ مِنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَى عَنْهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ تَقْبِيلَ الْحَجَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنْ لَمْ يُمْكِنْهُ وَلَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْهِ اسْتَلَمَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَقَبَّلَ يَدَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ لَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْهِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ إِذَا حَاذَى بِهِ وَكَبَّرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ.

Urdu Translation

زبیر بن عربی سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک شخص نے ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے حجر اسود کا بوسہ لینے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسے چھوتے اور بوسہ لیتے دیکھا ہے۔ اس نے کہا: اچھا بتائیے اگر میں وہاں تک پہنچنے میں مغلوب ہو جاؤں اور اگر میں بھیڑ میں پھنس جاؤں؟ تو اس پر ابن عمر نے کہا: تم ( یہ اپنا ) اگر مگر یمن میں رکھو ۱؎ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسے چھوتے اور بوسہ لیتے دیکھا ہے۔ یہ زبیر بن عربی وہی ہیں، جن سے حماد بن زید نے روایت کی ہے، کوفے کے رہنے والے تھے، ان کی کنیت ابوسلمہ ہے۔ انہوں نے انس بن مالک اور دوسرے کئی صحابہ سے حدیثیں روایت کیں ہیں۔ اور ان سے سفیان ثوری اور دوسرے کئی اور ائمہ نے روایت کی ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔ ان سے یہ دوسری سندوں سے بھی مروی ہے۔ ۲- اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے، وہ حجر اسود کے بوسہ لینے کو مستحب سمجھتے ہیں۔ اگر یہ ممکن نہ ہو اور آدمی وہاں تک نہ پہنچ سکے تو اسے اپنے ہاتھ سے چھو لے اور اپنے ہاتھ کا بوسہ لے لے اور اگر وہ اس تک نہ پہنچ سکے تو جب اس کے سامنے میں پہنچے تو اس کی طرف رخ کرے اور اللہ اکبر کہے، یہ شافعی کا قول ہے۔

English Translation

Az-Zubair bin Arabi narrated: That a man asked Ibn Umar about touching the (Black) Stone, so he said: I saw the Prophet touching it and kissing it. So the man said: What is your view if there is a throng (around the Ka'bah) and what is your view if the people overpowered me? Ibn Umar said: Leave 'What is your view' in Yemen. I saw the Prophet touching it and kissing it.
