Chapter 19 THE BOOK OF ABRIDGED OR SHORTENED PRAYERS (AT-TAQSIR)

باب کتاب نماز میں قصر کرنے کا بیان

Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar (while on a journey) used to offer the prayer and the witr on his mount (Rahila). He said that the Prophet used to do so.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا ، وَيُخْبِرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ .

ہم سے ابوالاعلیٰ بن حماد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے وہیب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ   ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نفل نماز سواری پر پڑھتے تھے۔ اسی طرح وتر بھی۔ اور فرماتے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی ایسا کرتے تھے۔
