حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، قَالَ : ذُكِرَ لِي أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِمُعَاذِ : مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَلَا أُبَشِّرُ النَّاسَ ، قَالَ : لَا إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَتَّكِلُوا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ان سے معتمر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اپنے باپ سے سنا، انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ   مجھ سے بیان کیا گیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک روز معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کہ جو شخص اللہ سے اس کیفیت کے ساتھ ملاقات کرے کہ اس نے اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کیا ہو، وہ ( یقیناً ) جنت میں داخل ہو گا، معاذ بولے، یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں اس بات کی لوگوں کو بشارت نہ سنا دوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نہیں، مجھے خوف ہے کہ لوگ اس پر بھروسہ کر بیٹھیں گے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: I was informed that the Prophet had said to Mu`adh, Whosoever will meet Allah without associating anything in worship with Him will go to Paradise. Mu`adh asked the Prophet, Should I not inform the people of this good news? The Prophet replied, No, I am afraid, lest they should depend upon it (absolutely).
