Sahih Bukhari 1535 - The Book Of Hajj

Baab Hajj Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ رُئِيَ وَهُوَ فِي مُعَرَّسٍ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي ، قِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّكَ بِبَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ ، وَقَدْ أَنَاخَ بِنَا سَالِمٌ يَتَوَخَّى بِالْمُنَاخِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يُنِيخُ يَتَحَرَّى مُعَرَّسَ رَسُولِ اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بِبَطْنِ الْوَادِي بَيْنَهُمْ , وَبَيْنَ الطَّرِيقِ وَسَطٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن ابی بکر مقدمی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے فضیل بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سالم بن عبداللہ بن عمر نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ان کے والد نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حوالہ سے کہ   معرس کے قریب ذوالحلیفہ کی بطن وادی ( وادی عقیق ) میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو خواب دکھایا گیا۔ ( جس میں ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا گیا تھا کہ آپ اس وقت ”بطحاء مبارکہ“ میں ہیں۔ موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے کہا کہ سالم نے ہم کو بھی وہاں ٹھہرایا وہ اس مقام کو ڈھونڈ رہے تھے جہاں عبداللہ اونٹ بٹھایا کرتے تھے یعنی جہاں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات کو اترا کرتے تھے۔ وہ مقام اس مسجد کے نیچے کی طرف میں ہے جو نالے کے نشیب میں ہے۔ اترنے والوں اور راستے کے بیچوں بیچ ( وادی عقیق مدینہ سے چار میل بقیع کی جانب ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Musa bin `Uqba: Salim bin `Abdullah's father said, The Prophet said that while resting in the bottom of the valley at Muarras in Dhul-Hulaifa, he had been addressed in a dream: 'You are verily in a blessed valley.' Salim made us to dismount from our camels at the place where `Abdullah used to dismount, aiming at the place where Allah's Apostle had rested and it was below the Mosque situated in the middle of the valley in between them (the residence) and the road.
