Baab Hajj Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قال لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَوْلَا حَدَاثَةُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَنَقَضْتُ الْبَيْتَ ، ثُمَّ لَبَنَيْتُهُ عَلَى أَسَاسِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام ، فَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا اسْتَقْصَرَتْ بِنَاءَهُ وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ خَلْفًا , قَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، خَلْفًا يَعْنِي بَابًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبید بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا، اگر تمہاری قوم کا زمانہ کفر سے ابھی تازہ نہ ہوتا تو میں خانہ کعبہ کو توڑ کر اسے ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی بنیاد پر بناتا کیونکہ قریش نے اس میں کمی کر دی ہے۔ اس میں ایک دروازہ اور اس دروازے کے مقابل رکھتا۔ ابومعاویہ نے کہا ہم سے ہشام نے بیان کیا۔ حدیث میں «خلف» سے دروازہ مراد ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Apostle said to me, Were your people not close to the Pre-Islamic period of ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka`ba and would have rebuilt it on its original foundations laid by Abraham (for Quraish had curtailed its building), and I would have built a back door (too).
