Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet and some of his companions got their heads shaved and some others got their hair cut short.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : حَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، وَقَصَّرَ بَعْضُهُمْ .

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن اسماء نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جویریہ بن اسماء نے، ان سے نافع نے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بہت سے اصحاب نے سر منڈوایا تھا لیکن بعض نے کتروایا بھی تھا۔
