حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ فَأَتَتْهُ بِتَمْرٍ وَسَمْنٍ ، قَالَ : أَعِيدُوا سَمْنَكُمْ فِي سِقَائِهِ ، وَتَمْرَكُمْ فِي وِعَائِهِ ، فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ فَصَلَّى غَيْرَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ، فَدَعَا لِأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهَا ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي خُوَيْصَّةً ، قَالَ : مَا هِيَ ؟ قَالَتْ : خَادِمُكَ أَنَسٌ ، فَمَا تَرَكَ خَيْرَ آخِرَةٍ وَلَا دُنْيَا إِلَّا دَعَا لِي بِهِ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْهُ مَالًا ، وَوَلَدًا ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيهِ ، فَإِنِّي لَمِنْ أَكْثَرِ الْأَنْصَارِ مَالًا ، وَحَدَّثَتْنِي ابْنَتِي أُمَيْنَةُ أَنَّهُ دُفِنَ لِصُلْبِي مَقْدَمَ حَجَّاجٍ الْبَصْرَةَ بِضْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةٌ . حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ ، سَمِعَ أَنَسًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن مثنی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے خالد نے (جو حارث کے بیٹے ہیں) بیان کیا، ان سے حمید نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نامی ایک عورت کے یہاں تشریف لے گئے۔ انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں کھجور اور گھی پیش کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، یہ گھی اس کے برتن میں رکھ دو اور یہ کھجوریں بھی اس کے برتن میں رکھ دو کیونکہ میں تو روزے سے ہوں، پھر آپ نے گھر کے ایک کنارے میں کھڑے ہو کر نفل نماز پڑھی اور ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا اور ان کے گھر والوں کے لیے دعا کی، ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے عرض کی کہ میرا ایک بچہ لاڈلا بھی تو ہے ( اس کے لیے بھی تو دعا فرما دیجئیے ) فرمایا کون ہے انہوں نے کہا آپ کا خادم انس ( رضی اللہ عنہ ) پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دنیا اور آخرت کی کوئی خیر و بھلائی نہ چھوڑی جس کی ان کے لیے دعا نہ کی ہو۔ آپ نے دعا میں یہ بھی فرمایا اے اللہ! اسے مال اور اولاد عطا فرما اور اس کے لیے برکت عطا کر ( انس رضی اللہ عنہ کا بیان تھا کہ ) چنانچہ میں انصار میں سب سے زیادہ مالدار ہوں۔ اور مجھ سے میری بیٹی امینہ نے بیان کیا حجاج کے بصرہ آنے تک میری صلبی اولاد میں سے تقریباً ایک سو بیس دفن ہو چکے تھے۔ ہم سے ابن ابی مریم نے بیان کیا، انہیں یحییٰ نے خبر دی، کہا کہ مجھ سے حمید نے بیان کیا، اور انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حوالہ کے ساتھ۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: The Prophet paid a visit to Um-Sulaim and she placed before him dates and ghee. The Prophet said, Replace the ghee and dates in their respective containers for I am fasting. Then he stood somewhere in her house and offered an optional prayer and then he invoked good on Um-Sulaim and her family. Then Um-Sulaim said, O Allah's Apostle! I have a special request (today). He said, What is it? She replied, (Please invoke for) your servant Anas. So Allah's Apostle did not leave anything good in the world or the Hereafter which he did not invoke (Allah to bestow) on me and said, O Allah! Give him (i.e. Anas) property and children and bless him. Thus I am one of the richest among the Ansar and my daughter Umaina told me that when Al-Hajjaj came to Basra, more than 120 of my offspring had been buried.
