Narrated Salim and `Abdullah from Zaid bin Habit' Later on Allah's Apostle permitted the selling of ripe fruits on trees for fresh dates or dried dates in Bai'-al-'Araya, and did not allow it for any other kind of sale.

قَالَ سَالِمٌ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرِيَّةِ بِالرُّطَبِ أَوْ بِالتَّمْرِ ، وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ فِي غَيْرِهِ .

سالم نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی، اور انہیں زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   بعد میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیع عریہ کی تر یا خشک کھجور کے بدلہ میں اجازت دے دی تھی لیکن اس کے سوا کسی صورت کی اجازت نہیں دی تھی۔
