Baab Wasiyaton Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْمَدَنِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : اجْتَنِبُوا السَّبْعَ الْمُوبِقَاتِ ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَمَا هُنَّ ، قَالَ : الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ ، وَالسِّحْرُ ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ، وَأَكْلُ الرِّبَا ، وَأَكْلُ مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ ، وَالتَّوَلِّي يَوْمَ الزَّحْفِ ، وَقَذْفُ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے سلیمان بن بلال نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ثور بن زید مدنی نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوغیث نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”سات گناہوں سے جو تباہ کر دینے والے ہیں بچتے رہو۔“ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! وہ کون سے گناہ ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک ٹھہرانا ‘ جادو کرنا ‘ کسی کی ناحق جان لینا کہ جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے ‘ سود کھانا ‘ یتیم کا مال کھانا ‘ لڑائی میں سے بھاگ جانا ‘ پاک دامن بھولی بھالی ایمان والی عورتوں پر تہمت لگانا۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Avoid the seven great destructive sins. The people enquire, O Allah's Apostle! What are they? He said, To join others in worship along with Allah, to practice sorcery, to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to eat up an orphan's wealth, to give back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting, and to accuse, chaste women, who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.
