حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَشِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ ، قَالَ : وَالنَّاسُ فِي مَبِيتِهِمْ ، فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَسُولًا أَنْ لَا يَبْقَيَنَّ فِي رَقَبَةِ بَعِيرٍ قِلَادَةٌ مِنْ وَتَرٍ أَوْ قِلَادَةٌ إِلَّا قُطِعَتْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے امام مالک رحمہ اللہ نے خبر دی ‘ انہیں عبداللہ بن ابی بکر نے ‘ انہیں عباد بن تمیم نے اور انہیں ابوبشیر انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   وہ ایک سفر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے۔ عبداللہ ( عبداللہ بن ابی بکر بن حزم راوی حدیث ) نے کہا کہ میرا خیال ہے ابوبشیر نے کہا کہ لوگ اپنی خواب گاہوں میں تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ایک قاصد ( زید بن حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) یہ اعلان کرنے کے لیے بھیجا کہ جس شخص کے اونٹ کی گردن میں تانت کا گنڈا ہو یا یوں فرمایا کہ گنڈا ( ہار ) ہو وہ اسے کاٹ ڈالے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Bashir Al-Ansari: That he was in the company of Allah's Apostle on some of his journeys. (The sub-narrator `Abdullah adds, I think that Abu Bashir also said, 'And the people were at their sleeping places. ) Allah's Apostle sent a messenger ordering: There shall not remain any necklace of string or any other kind of necklace round the necks of camels except it is cut off.
