Baab Jihad Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ مُجَاشِعٌ بِأَخِيهِ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : هَذَا مُجَالِدٌ يُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ ، فَقَالَ : لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَلَكِنْ أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابراہیم بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم کو یزید بن زریع نے خبر دی ‘ انہیں خالد نے ‘ انہیں ابوعثمان نہدی نے اور ان سے مجاشع بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   مجاشع اپنے بھائی مجالد بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کو لے کر خدمت نبوی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ یہ مجالد ہیں۔ آپ سے ہجرت پر بیعت کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ فتح مکہ کے بعد اب ہجرت باقی نہیں رہی۔ ہاں میں اسلام پر ان سے بیعت لے لوں گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu `Uthman An-Nahdi: Mujashi (bin Mas`ud) took his brother Mujalid bin Musud to the Prophet and said, This is Mujalid and he will give a pledge of allegiance to you for migration. The Prophet said, There is no migration after the Conquest of Mecca, but I will take his pledge of allegiance for Islam.
