Baab Jihad Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَمِّهِ عُبَيْدِ الله بن كعب ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ضُحًى دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوعاصم نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابن جریج نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابن شہاب نے ‘ ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن عبداللہ بن کعب نے ‘ ان سے ان کے والد (عبداللہ) اور چچا عبیداللہ بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دن چڑھے سفر سے واپس ہوتے تو بیٹھنے سے پہلے مسجد میں جا کر دو رکعت نفل نماز پڑھتے تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ka`b: Whenever the Prophet returned from a journey in the forenoon, he would enter the Mosque and offer two rak`at before sitting
