Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرٌو ، أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجّ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ بُسْرَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، وَمَعَ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ الَّذِي كَانَ فِي حَجْرِ مَيْمُونَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَهُمَا زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ ، قَالَ : بُسْرٌ فَمَرِضَ زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ فَعُدْنَاهُ ، فَإِذَا نَحْنُ فِي بَيْتِهِ بِسِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ ، فَقُلْتُ لِعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ أَلَمْ يُحَدِّثْنَا فِي التَّصَاوِيرِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ قَالَ : إِلَّا رَقْمٌ فِي ثَوْبٍ أَلَا سَمِعْتَهُ ، قُلْتُ : لَا ، قَالَ : بَلَى قَدْ ذَكَرَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے احمد بن صالح نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عمرو بن حارث نے خبر دی، ان سے بکیر بن اشج نے بیان کیا، ان سے بسر بن سعید نے بیان کیا اور ان سے زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا   اور ( راوی حدیث ) بسر بن سعید کے ساتھ عبیداللہ خولانی بھی روایت حدیث میں شریک ہیں، جو کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی پرورش میں تھے۔ ان دونوں سے زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ان سے ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”فرشتے اس گھر میں نہیں داخل ہوتے جس میں ( جاندار کی ) تصویر ہو۔“ بسر نے بیان کیا کہ پھر زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ بیمار پڑے اور ہم ان کی عیادت کے لیے ان کے گھر گئے۔ گھر میں ایک پردہ پڑا ہوا تھا اور اس پر تصویریں بنی ہوئی تھیں۔ میں نے عبیداللہ خولانی سے کہا، کیا انہوں نے ہم سے تصویروں کے متعلق ایک حدیث نہیں بیان کی تھی؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ زید رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ بھی کہا تھا کہ کپڑے پر اگر نقش و نگار ہوں ( جاندار کی تصویر نہ ہو ) تو وہ اس حکم سے الگ ہے۔ کیا آپ نے حدیث کا یہ حصہ نہیں سنا تھا؟ میں نے کہا کہ نہیں۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ جی ہاں! زید رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ بھی بیان کیا تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Busr bin Sa`id: That Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani narrated to him something in the presence of Sa`id bin 'Ubaidullah Al- Khaulani who was brought up in the house of Maimuna the wife of the Prophet. Zaid narrated to them that Abu Talha said that the Prophet said, The Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a picture. Busr said, Later on Zaid bin Khalid fell ill and we called on him. To our surprise we saw a curtain decorated with pictures in his house. I said to Ubaidullah Al-Khaulani, Didn't he (i.e. Zaid) tell us about the (prohibition of) pictures? He said, But he excepted the embroidery on garments. Didn't you hear him? I said, No. He said, Yes, he did.
