Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِجَهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِبَيْتِهَا فَأُحْرِقَ بِالنَّارِ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالزناد نے، ان سے اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”گروہ انبیاء میں سے ایک نبی ایک درخت کے سائے میں اترے، وہاں انہیں کسی ایک چیونٹی نے کاٹ لیا۔ تو انہوں نے حکم دیا، ان کا سارا سامان درخت کے تلے سے اٹھا لیا گیا۔ پھر چیونٹیوں کا سارا چھتہ جلوا دیا۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر وحی بھیجی کہ تم کو تو ایک ہی چیونٹی نے کاٹا تھا، فقط اسی کو جلانا تھا۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, Once while a prophet amongst the prophets was taking a rest underneath a tree, an ant bit him. He, therefore, ordered that his luggage be taken away from underneath that tree and then ordered that the dwelling place of the ants should be set on fire. Allah sent him a revelation:-- Wouldn't it have been sufficient to burn a single ant? (that bit you): (See Page 162, chapter No. 153).
