Baab Anbiya Alaih Salam Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ سَجَنَتْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ فَدَخَلَتْ فِيهَا النَّارَ لَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا ، وَلَا سَقَتْهَا إِذْ حَبَسَتْهَا ، وَلَا هِيَ تَرَكَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن اسماء نے بیان کیا کہا ہم سے جویریہ بن اسماء نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” ( بنی اسرائیل کی ) ایک عورت کو ایک بلی کی وجہ سے عذاب دیا گیا تھا جسے اس نے قید کر رکھا تھا جس سے وہ بلی مر گئی تھی اور اس کی سزا میں وہ عورت دوزخ میں گئی۔ جب وہ عورت بلی کو باندھے ہوئے تھی تو اس نے اسے کھانے کے لیے کوئی چیز نہ دی، نہ پینے کے لیے اور نہ اس نے بلی کو چھوڑا ہی کہ وہ زمین کے کیڑے مکوڑے ہی کھا لیتی۔“

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Apostle said, A lady was punished because of a cat which she had imprisoned till it died. She entered the (Hell) Fire because of it, for she neither gave it food nor water as she had imprisoned it, nor set it free to eat from the vermin of the earth.
