حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : لَمَّا كَذَّبَنِي قُرَيْشٌ قُمْتُ فِي الْحِجْرِ فَجَلَا اللَّهُ لِي بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ فَطَفِقْتُ أُخْبِرُهُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، کہ مجھ سے کہا ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے کہ میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ   جب قریش نے ( معراج کے واقعہ کے سلسلے میں ) مجھ کو جھٹلایا تو میں حطیم میں کھڑا ہو گیا اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے لیے بیت المقدس کو روشن کر دیا اور میں نے اسے دیکھ کر قریش سے اس کے پتے اور نشان بیان کرنا شروع کر دیئے۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: That he heard Allah's Apostle saying, When the people of Quraish did not believe me (i.e. the story of my Night Journey), I stood up in Al-Hijr and Allah displayed Jerusalem in front of me, and I began describing it to them while I was looking at it.
