Narrated As-Saib: I remember I went out with the boys to Thaniyat-ul-Wada` to receive the Prophet when he returned from the Ghazwa of Tabuk.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ السَّائِبِ أَذْكُرُ أَنِّي خَرَجْتُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ نَتَلَقَّى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ مَقْدَمَهُ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ.

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے زہری نے اور ان سے سائب بن یزید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   مجھے یاد ہے، جب میں بچوں کے ساتھ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا استقبال کرنے گیا تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم غزوہ تبوک سے واپس تشریف لا رہے تھے۔
