حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ إِلَّا يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ ، أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَا تُنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةُ بَهِيمَةً جَمْعَاءَ ، هَلْ تُحِسُّونَ فِيهَا مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ سورة الروم آية 30 ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہمیں عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، انہیں یونس بن یزید نے خبر دی، ان سے زہری نے بیان کیا، انہیں ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے خبر دی اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر پیدا ہونے والا بچہ دین فطرت پر پیدا ہوتا ہے لیکن اس کے ماں باپ اسے یہودی، نصرانی یا مجوسی بنا لیتے ہیں۔ اس کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسی جانور کا بچہ صحیح سالم پیدا ہوتا ہے کیا تم نے انہیں ناک کان کٹا ہوا کوئی بچہ دیکھا ہے۔ اس کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس آیت کی تلاوت کی «فطرة الله التي فطر الناس عليها لا تبديل لخلق الله ذلك الدين القيم‏» ”اللہ کی اس فطرت کی اتباع کرو جس پر اس نے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے، اللہ کی بنائی ہوئی فطرت میں کوئی تبدیلی ممکن نہیں، یہی سیدھا دین ہے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, No child is born except on Al-Fitra (Islam) and then his parents make him Jewish, Christian or Magian, as an animal produces a perfect young animal: do you see any part of its body amputated? Then he rec 'The religion of pure Islamic Faith (Hanifa),(i.e. to worship none but Allah), The pure Allah's Islamic nature with which He (Allah) has created mankind. Let There be no change in Allah's religion (i.e. to join none in Allah's worship). That is the straight religion; but most of men know not... (30.30)
