حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : اعْتَدِلُوا فِي السُّجُودِ وَلَا يَبْسُطْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَالْكَلْبِ ، وَإِذَا بَزَقَ فَلَا يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یزید بن ابراہیم نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے قتادہ نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کیا، آپ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے تھے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ سجدہ کرنے میں اعتدال رکھو ( سیدھی طرح پر کرو ) اور کوئی شخص تم میں سے اپنے بازوؤں کو کتے کی طرح نہ پھیلائے۔ جب کسی کو تھوکنا ہی ہو تو سامنے یا داہنی طرف نہ تھوکے، کیونکہ وہ نماز میں اپنے رب سے پوشیدہ باتیں کرتا رہتا ہے اور سعید نے قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کر کے بیان کیا ہے کہ آگے یا سامنے نہ تھوکے البتہ بائیں طرف پاؤں کے نیچے تھوک سکتا ہے اور شعبہ نے کہا کہ اپنے سامنے اور دائیں جانب نہ تھوکے، بلکہ بائیں طرف یا پاؤں کے نیچے تھوک سکتا ہے۔ اور حمید نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ قبلہ کی طرف نہ تھوکے اور نہ دائیں طرف البتہ بائیں طرف یا پاؤں کے نیچے تھوک سکتا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, Do the prostration properly and do not put your forearms flat with elbows touching the ground like a dog. And if you want to spit, do not spit in front, nor to the right for the person in prayer is speaking in private to his Lord.
