Baab Libaas Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ، مَالِي لَا أَلْعَنُ مَنْ لَعَنَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ سورة الحشر آية 7 .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عثمان بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر بن عبدالحمید نے بیان کیا، ان سے منصور بن معتمر نے، ان سے ابراہیم نخعی نے، ان سے علقمہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے حسن کے لیے گودنے والیوں، گدوانے والیوں پر اور چہرے کے بال اکھاڑنے والیوں پر اور دانتوں کے درمیان کشادگی پیدا کرنے والیوں پر، جو اللہ کی خلقت کو بدلیں ان سب پر لعنت بھیجی ہے، میں بھی کیوں نہ ان لوگوں پر لعنت کروں جن پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لعنت کی ہے اور اس کی دلیل کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی لعنت خود قرآن مجید میں موجود ہے۔ آیت «وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه‏» ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah: Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their face hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, and such women as change the features created by Allah. Why then should I not curse those whom the Prophet has cursed? And that is in Allah's Book. i.e. His Saying: 'And what the Apostle gives you take it and what he forbids you abstain (from it).' (59.7)
