حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حَسَّانَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَسْتَشْهِدُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، نَشَدْتُكَ بِاللَّهِ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : يَا حَسَّانُ أَجِبْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ أَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : نَعَمْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی، ان سے زہری نے (دوسری سند) امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا اور ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے میرے بھائی عبدالحمید نے بیان کیا، ان سے سلیمان نے، ان سے محمد بن ابی عتیق نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف نے، انہوں نے حسان بن ثابت انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو گواہ بنا کر کہہ رہے تھے کہ   اے ابوہریرہ! میں آپ کو اللہ کی قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں، کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اے حسان! اللہ کے رسول کی طرف سے مشرکوں کو جواب دو، اے اللہ! روح القدس کے ذریعہ ان کی مدد کر۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ ہاں۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Salama bin `Abdur-Rahman bin `Auf: that he heard Hassan bin Thabit Al-Ansari asking the witness of Abu Huraira, saying, O Abu- Huraira! I beseech you by Allah (to tell me). Did you hear Allah's Apostle saying' 'O Hassan ! Reply on behalf of Allah's Apostle. O Allah ! Support him (Hassan) with the Holy Spirit (Gabriel).'? Abu Huraira said, Yes.
