Narrated `Aisha: (the wife the Prophet) Allah's Apostle said, O Aisha! This is Gabriel sending his greetings to you. I said, Peace, and Allah's Mercy be on him. `Aisha added: The Prophet used to see things which we used not to see.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا عَائِشَ ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ ، قُلْتُ : وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَتْ : وَهُوَ يَرَى مَا لَا نَرَى .

ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی، ان سے زہری نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”یا عائش! یہ جبرائیل علیہ السلام ہیں اور تمہیں سلام کہتے ہیں۔“ میں نے کہا اور ان پر بھی سلام اور اللہ کی رحمت ہو۔ بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وہ چیزیں دیکھتے تھے جو ہم نہیں دیکھتے تھے۔
