حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ صَبَّاحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ : رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي ، وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي كُلِّهِ ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَايَايَ ، وَعَمْدِي ، وَجَهْلِي ، وَهَزْلِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ ، وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ ، وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، وَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ .

Urdu Translation

کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے، ان سے ابواسحاق نے، ان سے ابن ابی موسیٰ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا کرتے تھے «رب اغفر لي خطيئتي وجهلي وإسرافي في أمري كله،‏‏‏‏ وما أنت أعلم به مني،‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ اللهم اغفر لي خطاياى وعمدي وجهلي وهزلي،‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ وكل ذلك عندي،‏‏‏‏ اللهم اغفر لي ما قدمت وما أخرت وما أسررت وما أعلنت،‏‏‏‏ أنت المقدم،‏‏‏‏ وأنت المؤخر،‏‏‏‏ وأنت على كل شىء قدير» ”میرے رب! میری خطا، میری نادانی اور تمام معاملات میں میرے حد سے تجاوز کرنے میں میری مغفرت فرما اور وہ گناہ بھی جن کو تو مجھ سے زیادہ جاننے والا ہے۔ اے اللہ! میری مغفرت کر، میری خطاؤں میں، میرے بالا ارادہ اور بلا ارادہ کاموں میں اور میرے ہنسی مزاح کے کاموں میں اور یہ سب میری ہی طرف سے ہیں۔ اے اللہ! میری مغفرت کر ان کاموں میں جو میں کر چکا ہوں اور انہیں جو کروں گا اور جنہیں میں نے چھپایا اور جنہیں میں نے ظاہر کیا ہے، تو سب سے پہلے ہے اور تو ہی سب سے بعد میں ہے اور تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔“ اور عبیداللہ بن معاذ ( جو امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ کے شیخ ہیں ) نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسحاق نے، ان سے ابوبردہ بن ابی موسیٰ نے اور ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet used to invoke Allah with the following invocation: 'Rabbi-ghfir-li Khati 'ati wa jahli wa israfi fi `Amri kullihi, wa ma anta a'lamu bihi minni. Allahumma ighfirli khatayaya wa 'amdi, wa jahli wa jiddi, wa kullu dhalika'indi. Allahumma ighrifli ma qaddamtu wa ma akhartu wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lantu. Anta-l-muqaddimu wa anta-l-mu'akh-khiru, wa anta 'ala kulli shai'in qadir.'
