حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : مَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ ، لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ ، كَانَتْ لَهُ عَدْلَ عَشْرِ رِقَابٍ ، وَكُتِبَ لَهُ مِائَةُ حَسَنَةٍ ، وَمُحِيَتْ عَنْهُ مِائَةُ سَيِّئَةٍ ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ حِرْزًا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ ، وَلَمْ يَأْتِ أَحَدٌ بِأَفْضَلَ مِمَّا جَاءَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ عَمِلَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ قعنبی نے بیان کیا، ان سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے سمی نے، ان سے ابوصالح نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جس نے یہ کلمہ کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تنہا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے تعریفیں ہیں اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔“ دن میں سو دفعہ پڑھا اسے دس غلاموں کو آزاد کرنے کا ثواب ملے گا اور اس کے لیے سو نیکیاں لکھ دی جائیں گی اور اس کی سو برائیاں مٹا دی جائیں گی اور اس دن وہ شیطان کے شر سے محفوظ رہے گا شام تک کے لیے اور کوئی شخص اس دن اس سے بہتر کام کرنے والا نہیں سمجھا جائے گا، سوا اس کے جو اس سے زیادہ کرے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, Whoever says: La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahul- hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in qadir, one hundred times will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he.
