Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (or insult) his neighbor; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should entertain his guest generously.

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلَا يُؤْذِ جَارَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ .

مجھ سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابرہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جو کوئی اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اسے چاہئے کہ اچھی بات کہے ورنہ خاموش رہے اور جو کوئی اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے وہ اپنے پڑوسی کو تکلیف نہ پہنچائے اور جو کوئی اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو وہ اپنے مہمان کی عزت کرے۔“
