Baab Qasmon Aur Nazron Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَمَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ ، يَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ ، أَوْ قَالَ : أَخِيهِ ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَصْدِيقَهُ : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ سورة آل عمران آية 77 .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے محمد بن ابی عدی نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے، ان سے سلیمان و منصور نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابووائل نے بیان کیا، اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جس نے جھوٹی قسم اس مقصد سے کھائی کہ کسی مسلمان کا مال اس کے ذریعہ ناجائز طریقے پر حاصل کرے تو وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس حال میں ملے گا کہ وہ اس پر غضب ناک ہو گا۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کی تصدیق نازل کی ( قرآن مجید میں کہ ) «إن الذين يشترون بعهد الله‏» بلاشبہ وہ لوگ جو اللہ کے عہد کے ذریعہ خریدتے ہیں۔“

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet said, Whoever swears falsely in order to grab the property of a Muslim (or of his brother), Allah will be angry with him when he meets Him. Allah then revealed in confirmation of the above statement:--'Verily those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their own oaths.' (3.77)
