Baab Hukumat Or Qaza Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَقِيلٍ زُهْرَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَذَهَبَتْ بِهِ أُمُّهُ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ حُمَيْدٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، بَايِعْهُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : هُوَ صَغِيرٌ ، فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ ، وَدَعَا لَهُ ، وَكَانَ يُضَحِّي بِالشَّاةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ عَنْ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن یزید نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید ابن ابی ایوب نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوعقیل زہرہ بن معبد نے بیان کیا   انہوں نے اپنے دادا عبداللہ بن ہشام رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا زمانہ پایا تھا اور ان کی والدہ زینب بنت حمید ان کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں لے کر حاضر ہوئی تھیں اور عرض کیا تھا یا رسول اللہ! اس سے بیعت لے لیجئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ ابھی کمسن ہے پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور ان کے لیے دعا فرمائی اور اپنے تمام گھر والوں کی طرف سے ایک ہی بکری قربانی کیا کرتے تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin Hisham: who was born during the lifetime of the Prophet that his mother, Zainab bint Humaid had taken him to Allah's Apostle and said, O Allah's Apostle! Take his Pledge of allegiance (for Islam). The Prophet said, He (`Abdullah bin Hisham) is a little child, and passed his hand over his head and invoked Allah for him. `Abdullah bin Hisham used to slaughter one sheep as a sacrifice on behalf of all of his family.
