حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ .
ہم سے ابوولید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھے عدی بن ثابت نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے سعید بن جبیر سے سنا، وہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کرتے تھے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عیدالفطر کے دن نکلے اور ( عیدگاہ ) میں دو رکعت نماز عید پڑھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہ اس سے پہلے نفل نماز پڑھی اور نہ اس کے بعد۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے۔
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet went out and offered a two rak`at prayer on the Day of `Id ul Fitr and did not offer any other prayer before or after it and at that time Bilal was accompanying him.
