حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ «يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ وَعِنْدَهُ ثِيَابُهُ». وَقَالَ جَابِرٌ: إِنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ

Urdu Translation

  عمرو نے کہا کہ ابو زبیر مکی نے مجھے حدیث سنائی کہ انہوں نے جابر بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کو ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھتے دیکھا ، وہ اس کو پٹکے کی طرح لپیٹے ہوئے تھے اور ان کے پاس ان کے کپڑےموجود تھے اور جابر ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے رسو ل اللہﷺ کو ایسے کرتے دیکھا ہے ۔

English Translation

Abu Zubair reported that he saw Jabir b. 'Abdullah praying in a single garment crossing Its ends even though he had the garments, and Jabir said: He saw the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) doing like this.
