حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ، أَنَّهُمْ سَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ؟ فَقَالَ: «وَاحِدَةً»

Urdu Translation

  یحییٰ بن سعید نے ہشام سے اسی سند کے ساتھ حضرت معیقیب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ لوگوں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے نماز ( کے دوران ) میں ہاتھ سے ( کنکریاں وغیرہ ) صاف کرنے کے بارےمیں سوال کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا : ‘ ‘ ایک بار ( کی جاسکتی ہیں ۔ ) ’’

English Translation

Mu'aiqib said: They asked the Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) about the removal of (pebbles) in prayer, whereupon he said: If you do it, do it only once.
