Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، قَالَ: «سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلَاثِ رَكَعَاتٍ، مِنَ الْعَصْرِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَدَخَلَ الْحُجْرَةَ»، فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ بَسِيطُ الْيَدَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: أَقُصِرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ «فَخَرَجَ مُغْضَبًا، فَصَلَّى الرَّكْعَةَ الَّتِي كَانَ تَرَكَ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ»

Urdu Translation

  عبدالوہاب تقفی نے خالد حذاء سے باقی ماندہ اسی سند کے ساتھ حضرت عمران بن حصین ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے عصر کی تیسری رکعت میں سلام پھیر دیا ، پھر اٹھ کر اپنے حجرے میں داخل ہو گئے ، ایک ( لمبے ) چوڑے ہاتھوں والا آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا نماز کم کر دی گئی ہے ؟ پھر آپ غصے کے عالم میں نکلے اور چھوڑی ہوئی رکعت پڑھائی ، پھر سلام پھیر دیا ، پھر سہو کے دو سجدے کیے ، پھر سلام پھیرا ۔

English Translation

Imran b. Husain reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said three rak'ahs of the 'Asr prayer and then got up and went to his apartment. A man possessing large arms stood up and said: Messenger of Allah, bias the player been shortened? He came out angrily, and said the rak'ah which he had omitted and then gave salutation. then performed two prostrations of forgetfulness and then gave salutation.
